Cardinal Archbishop of Paris celebrates again in the Gregorian Rite

André Cardinal Vingt-trois, Archbishop of Paris and President of the French Conference of Bishops celebrated using the 1962 missal for the third Sunday of Advent, three weeks ago.

Today he did celebrate again in Saint-Eugène in Paris.

By a decree from Cardinal Caprara, papal legate, dated 1802, the feast of Sainte Geneviève, patron saint of Paris, must be celebrated on the Sunday following the 3rd of January whenever it is possible.

It is interesting to notice that the Cardinal has been celebrating two Sundays in a very short period.

We hope it will have a good influence on the clergy.
